Mojave, CA | December 17, 2017: Our first volunteering sanctuary visit of the year.

ree

Club member Bremmer González caressing Juliet, the daughter of a mom rescued while pregnant.

When the owners of The Sanctuary at Soledad Goats went vegan about two years ago, they realized that the compassionate decision was to stop breeding and exploiting goats for their milk.

That is how their almond-based cheeze was born and now the profit they make from these and their various other vegan products help fund the living conditions of the rescued animals that habit their sanctuary, like Juliet.

How you can help.

By visiting their website (www.sanctuaryatsoledad.org) you can read more about the sanctuary's story, how you can help by volunteering, sponsoring one of their rescued animals, or purchasing an item from their Amazon wishlist for the improvement of the sanctuary.

Have you visited an animal sanctuary before? Will you like to volunteer at one soon? Check our Events tab to see when we have our next sanctuary visit!
